Purple Pollywogs

Dear Parents,

I am so excited to get to work with your children here at NEEC.  I can hardly wait to meet you and get to know your families.

Beginning in 1994, I have had many opportunities to work with children in different settings and am looking forward to working with your child.  I had the opportunity of working for 4 years in several classrooms and age groups here back when it was called Lighthouse Preschool.  I worked in- home with a special needs child and his brother.  I was with the North Kansas City School District for 2 years with an autism program.  I have also had experience tutoring at the grade school level.  I also substituted here at NEEC and was very excited to come back full time in December of 2006.

My vision for this classroom is simple:  I want to encourage each child to learn and progress as an individual.  I will also do my best to promote a positive environment for learning and developing.

Let me tell you a little about myself.  My name is Christy Huntsucker.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Michael since June of 2003.  We have two cats and fish.  I like to cook and bake, read (especially cookbooks), crochet, sing at church and collect dragonfly things.

I’m here to partner with you to make this the best possible experience for your child’s individual needs.  If I can help you in any way, please feel free to talk to me.

KimSincerely,
Christy Huntsucker
