Northland Early Education Center is committed to employing
quality educators and therapists. In each of our eight
classrooms, one lead teacher holds a Bachelor's degree in
education or a minimum of a Child Development Associate's
degree. We require all of our faculty/staff to maintain First
Aid and Infant/Child C
PR. NEEC employees must also acquire a
minimum of 12 training hours per year in the areas of education,
therapy, or special topics regarding a child's disability. A
physical therapist, speech/language pathologist and an
occupational therapist hold Master's degrees in their field of
study and maintain current licensure. NEEC holds monthly staff
meetings to review policies or to share information learned at
conferences. Our annual budget allows for funds that send
teachers and therapists to conferences or trainings that are
off-site. Some training opportunities frequented by the staff,
include the NAEYC conference, CARF conference, trainings on
behavior disorders and teamwork seminars. All staff members are
committed to maintaining high quality standards for our early
education program.
